PORTIMÃO WILL host Fashion Algarve this Saturday (September 3), a major fashion show taking place in the city for the third consecutive year, at Alameda da Praça da República. The event is a special occasion for the borough because the professional models featuring in the show live locally. As in previous years, Algarve fashion designer, José Pacheco, has been invited to present his new collection, alongside the latest fashions from well-known brands such as United Colors of Benetton, Morgan, Arrow and Pronuptia, among others. Musical entertainment will be provided by girl band, Sugar Dolls. The show begins at 9.30pm and is being organised by Portimão Câmara in conjunction with the Associação de Comércio e Serviços da Região do Algarve (ACRAL), the regional commerce and services association.
