Faro’s new-look Hotel EVA reopens

Faro’s emblematic riverside Hotel EVA has reopened with a new concept, name and look after being partially closed for renovations.

The hotel, now named EVA Senses Hotel, was taken over by the AP Hotels & Resorts group in December 2015 and has been undergoing renovations and improvements ever since.

All rooms have been completely renovated, while improvements have been carried out in the hotel’s public areas, restaurants, conference rooms and bars. The hotel has also opened a new rooftop bar which it says has become a popular spot in Faro.

As the hotel’s name suggests, EVA’s new concept aims to focus on the senses by offering new “gastronomic and audiovisual experiences”.

The hotel was inaugurated in 1966 and is located just a stone’s throw away from the town’s main shopping streets and the Ria Formosa estuary.
