The Conservatório Regional do Algarve Maria Campina, the Maria Campina regional conservatory of the Algarve in Faro is exhibiting paintings by Madame Jeanne Thérese until November 27.
A native of France, Madame Thérese settled in the Algarve in 2001 after travelling for much of her life, absorbing cultures and colours, which she has brought to life through her paintings. Depicted in her paintings are, among others, scenes from China, Saudi Arabia, Canada and France. Her adoration of the Algarve has only served to develop her talent. She uses different mediums, from oil to watercolour and has dabbled in pastel and Indian ink.
Her work has been exhibited in the Louvre museum in Paris, so this is an opportunity not to be missed.
The exhibition at the Maria Campina regional conservatory of the Algarve is open from 9am until 9pm every week day, from 9:30am until 1pm on Saturday and closed on Sunday. Entry is free.
