Faro Council has approved a €60,000 grant to support the local volunteer firefighters (Associação Humanitária de Bombeiros de Faro).
A collaboration protocol was signed between the two entities following its approval during a council meeting on Monday, March 1. The money will be used to improve working conditions for the firefighters, the council said.
