Faro Council will be investing over €192,000 to replace nearly 1,300 traditional light bulbs for more energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly LED light bulbs around the borough.
Several LED light bulbs have already been installed in some of Faro’s busiest streets, the council says.
The goal is to save energy, reduce the municipality’s environmental footprint and cut its electricity costs.
