FARO CÂMARA continues to strongly support the borough’s sports clubs, pledging more than 600,000 euros for this year. The funding is being shared among 41 clubs and associations that together offer 70 different activities, involving 5,000 sports people and 183 coaching staff. The objectives of this sponsorship are to support and develop sports activities through the acquisition of equipment and materials, aid the organisation of sporting events, support the cost of international travel for tournaments abroad, assist with logistics and help fund necessary building work at sports facilities.
