The second Rota de Tapas Estrella Damm is returning to Faro with more typical Algarve dishes being served in tapas form at several restaurants in Faro, from September 21 to October 8.
This year, 23 restaurants (five more than last year) are participating in the event. The concept is simple – for €3, diners can enjoy regional tapas accompanied by an Estrella Damm beer.
Organisers of the Rota de Tapas Estrella Damm say Faro proved to be a popular place to hold the event, with local eateries keen to show what the region has to offer in terms of gastronomy.
The initiative sponsored by the Spanish beer brand was originally launched in Lisbon in 2013 and has already been held 10 times in other parts of the country, last year arriving in Faro.
