Faro leads Real Estate “express sales”

Around 27% of homes purchased in June took less than a week to transact.

According to online real estate platform Idealista, about 27% of houses bought through their platform in June were advertised for less than a week.

The study also indicates that 12% were on the market between one week and a month, while 31% between one and three months, and 6% remained on the market for a year.

This is followed by Porto (39%), Aveiro (37%), Leiria (36%), Coimbra (35%), Santarém (33%) and below the national average, are Setúbal (24%), Braga (23%), Funchal (21%) and Lisbon (20%).

The district capitals where the least “express sales” were registered were Viseu (12%), Bragança (14%), Évora (16%) and Viana do Castelo (19%), where transactions took place in less than seven days in June.
