Some houses on Faro Island could be demolished as part of the Polis Litoral Ria Formosa redevelopment plan.
Valentina Calixto, a spokeswoman for the redevelopment project, said: “There could be some demolitions,” adding that these decisions will be made once the Plano Pormenor, detailed planning, has been completed.
She added: “We know that we have to renovate Faro Island, but solutions will be proposed.”
