BRITISH AIRWAYS began their new flight service between Faro and London Gatwick on March 30.
Jordi Porcel, the director general of British Airways in Portugal and Spain, said: “the new route will benefit tourism in Portugal by improving entry routes for English tourists to the Algarve”.
A further benefit will be the increased opportunity for Portuguese residents to have improved links with London and the business opportunities that are available in that city. Flights will be operating daily except Mondays with ticket prices starting at 51 euros.
