The largest biker meeting in Europe, now in its 28th year, was due to start yesterday (Thursday) until Sunday at a site on the outskirts of Faro.
Visitors to the city will be able to see thousands of bikes as they take part in parades through Faro this weekend.
More than 30,000 people are expected to take part in the rally this year and tickets, which are only available to buy on the gate, cost 40 euros per person. Those purchasing a ticket will receive an official goody, camping for the entire festival, access to all the exhibitors and the use of a free bus service between the site and Faro city centre.
Those visiting the festival will also have the chance to watch Swedish band Europe who are due to be the headline act as well as the Italian Iron Maiden tribute band Children of the Damned.
