FARO AIRPORT has been chosen by Monorama Touristik and Reise Klub, two German tour operators specialising in travel for the over 50s, to receive more than 9,000 seniors over a six-week period beginning this month.
The holidaymakers will fly into Faro, then travel onward to their final destinations in Spain’s Costa del Sol region. Charter airline, Future, will be offering a total of eight flights per week.
Monorama Touristik chose Faro airport for reasons of security, functionality and comfort, as well as its excellent equipment and facilities for passengers with reduced mobility, such as spacious lifts, wheelchairs, large public toilets and its good accessibility to the final destination.
Monorama Touristik, which has been responsible for such holidays for more than 15 years, has praised the management of Faro airport for its “unequalled organisation, service, logistics, professionalism and friendly service”.
