In celebration of the upcoming World Tourism Day (September 27), Faro Airport will be holding two musical performances by Portuguese acts José Manuel Ferreira and Mão de Obra.
They will be performing at the airport’s terminal building between 9am and 11am – and the celebration isn’t just aimed at travellers. The doors are open to anyone who wants to enjoy the music.
It will be the second time this month that the airport has hosted a musical event.
Last Sunday (September 7), it celebrated Faro’s city day with a jazz/blues concert by musical duo Só Nós Dois, followed by a demonstration by the local scouts of Montenegro, Faro, on “their way of living, techniques and some of their own products”, which was aimed at raising money so the troop can travel to an international scouts meeting in Japan in 2015.
