Farense, who last won at home in mid-December, beat Oliveirense 3-1 in the Segunda Liga and remain in second place, five points above Mafra in third.
Luís Rocha opened the scoring for the home side on 20 minutes after Fabrício Simões had wasted two gilt edged opportunities to give the Faro side the lead.
Oliveirense were level two minutes after the opening goal through Filipe Gonçalves. Fabrício Simões then made up for his earlier misses on the hour mark when he added number two from a Ryan Gauld corner. Gauld (80’), Jorge Fellipe (82’) and Irobiso (83’) then hit the woodwork before Irobiso made the game safe deep into stoppage time with a third.
