Family flee

A young child fell from the first floor as his father was trying to evade social workers. The father was scaling down an apartment block from the third floor using sheets tied together when the child fell from his grip. Correio da Manhã writes the man grabbed the child and then ran off. Police and social workers in Santarém have been hunting the family since a court ruled the child should be taken into care.
