A mother and two young children were hurt in Espinho on Monday after the car they were in careered out of control and landed upside down in a vegetable patch. The 34-year-old woman was on her way to the local crèche, to deposit her children, aged one and four respectively, when she lost control of the car and left the EN109 at Paramos (coincidentally, the Portuguese for “we stop”).
