SIX TIME major winner Nick Faldo has visited the Amendoeira Golf Resort in the Algarve to review progress on his company’s first golf course design project in Portugal.
Faldo is confident that his course is set to become an excellent addition to the region’s collection of golf courses.
Due to his busy schedule, it was a whirlwind visit, with Faldo jetting in for just one day. Oceânico Group’s 500 million euro Amendoeira Golf Resort covers 640 acres near Silves. Phase one is scheduled for completion in spring 2008.
