Fake doctor accused

A 58-year-old man posed as a doctor for 20 years, practising in private clinics and nursing homes in Lisbon and Almancil. Following an investigation which concluded in 2011, the man has now been officially accused of qualified swindling, fraud, unauthorised practice of medicine and document forgery. A nurse and a doctor have also been charged with assisting the man in his crimes.
