A CHRISTMAS fair held at Vila Madrugada in Carvoeiro on Sunday, November 16 raised 1,300 euros for the Refugio dos Burros donkey sanctuary at Estombar.
The funds are to be added to other donations and will be used to enable the current fencing project to begin.
Organisers would like to thank all the generous sponsors who contributed prizes for the event, including Collections, Wine Mine, Guys and Dolls, Pina Nurseries and Tim Bebbington Paints.
