A Portugal and Spain funded project is to see the Laranjeiras docks in Alcoutim redeveloped in an investment of more than €100,000.
Alcoutim Câmara recently signed an agreement with Constrope-Congevia for the project that will include the landscaping and overall regeneration of the site through the creation of shaded areas and the installation of a coffee kiosk.
Funding by the Cross-border Cooperation Programme (POCTEP) represents 75% of the total investment.
Work should be completed within four months.
