Albufeira Câmara will be promoting free eye tests this year for children in pre-school and primary schools in the county.
All children in kindergartens will have their eyes tested during the first phase, which will take place in January and February. The second phase will include all children in primary school, bringing the total number of children tested to 2,494.
This free service is being carried out in conjunction with the optician company Opticália, which will provide the opticians and the space for the tests.
