This year’s Better Living in Portugal (BLiP) exhibition, which is being held on Saturday October 6 and Sunday October 7, is offering something very special for four lucky people.
We know that there are lots of readers who do things tirelessly for others. Whether it is charity work or standing ironing the school uniform, taking the dog for a walk (yes it is your turn again!) or delivering a cooked meal to a neighbour who is incapacitated – there are lots of readers out there who deserve pampering.
The Victor Picardo Hairstyling Group and Collections Fashion are joining together with the Algarve Resident and the Better Living in Portugal exhibition to give a special gift to someone special that you nominate – and you could nominate yourself!
The prize will start with a consultation with one of Victor Picardo’s senior stylists on your new look. You will then enjoy a pedicure, manicure and facial, followed by that all important hairstyling.
Is all that enough? Not quite! You will have make-up professionally applied and will then be dressed in an outfit from Collections.
And to remember the day, we will ensure that some great photographs are taken of you.
This prize is worth hundreds of euros and there are four prizes to be won.
There is still more. For everyone who was nominated, there will be a Victor Picardo Hairstyling Group voucher valued at 20% off your next visit to one of the many VP Salons across the Algarve.
And for those of you who take the time and trouble to nominate someone for this competition – your names will be put into a lucky draw and the prize winner will be awarded a voucher for €50 to spend with Collections.
HOW TO ENTER
All you have to do is:
1. Send us the name of the person you want to nominate and a daytime telephone number for the nominee. Please include two reasons why this person deserves to win – remember this could be a nomination for someone you know or don’t forget – you can even nominate yourself!
2. If you are nominating someone other than yourself please include your name and daytime telephone number.

The closing date for receipt of entries is noon on Friday September 28 when the entries will be judged. Prize winners will be notified by 9am on Monday October 1.
The decision by the panel of judges will be final and no correspondence will be entered into concerning their decision.
