Extinction rebellion travels to Lisbon to stage mermaid protest 

Members of British eco-group Extinction Rebellion staged a ‘mermaid protest’ in Lisbon this morning, apparently “demanding more measures to protect the oceans”. (There was no glue involved). The UN Oceans Conference at Altice Marina this week is designed to raise the bar when it comes to the global response to marine conservation.
