Quinta do Lago South was the venue for the Atlantic Golf Society’s second major tournament of the year. In tough conditions, it was left to Tony Foster to roll back the years with consistent driving and a red hot putter to claim his first major trophy.
The minor places went to Carl Nixon and Seamus Fox, with Seamus and Ian Lee winning the “nearest the pins”. Thanks go to sponsors Supercraft Structures.
The next Society Day will take place at Pestana Vila Sol on July 16 at 12.30pm. Members pay €45 and non members €50, including chicken and chips at presentation.
