An “intriguing and thought-provoking exhibition” by Dutch painter Hans van Horck will take place in the Hotel Quinta do Lago from September 11 to 20.
Van Horck exhibits regularly both in Europe and the United States. His current work is inspired by a search for the original mythologies of Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.
His works feature expressive colours combined with figurative elements.
Van Horck says: “I look for the soul of nature in my paintings. Creating an illusion, which in itself is an illusion, is my motive.”
