The International School of the Algarve in Porches has started computer evening classes for adult and post 16 learners.
There are courses for all levels – introductory for those students who wish to develop their practical skills, intermediate for those who already have a broad knowledge of computers and an advanced level for students who wish to excel.
On successful completion of each level, students will be awarded the Cambridge International Diploma in Information and Communication Technology for the level at which they were studying. This is a fully recognised and valuable qualification set by the Cambridge International Examination Board. Courses cover word processing, spreadsheets, creating charts, website design and working with databases, with optional modules in desk top publishing and presentation authoring.
Assessments in each module can be taken at any point during the course allowing students to work at their own pace.
Classes will be at the International School in Porches on weekday evenings from 5pm-7pm and 7pm-9pm depending upon demand.
