Loulé council has approved a proposal to name a street or avenue after recently-deceased national football star Eusébio da Silva Ferreira.
In a press release, the municipality explained that the initiative is focused on “paying tribute to one of the best footballers of all time”. He always showed exceptional traits of “camaraderie and humanity” which make him a role-model for everyone, the council added.
