Eurovision songstress joins Grand Night of Variety

Filipa Sousa who represented Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest in Baku, Azerbaijan in 2012 will be singing in the Grand Night of Variety on November 7 at the Lagoa Auditorium.
Filipa, from Albufeira, has been a singer since childhood and studied music from the age of six. After the Eurovision experience, she has become well known for her fado singing and appears often on stage.
Also joining in the evening is violinist Krazimir Monti from Bulgaria. After arriving in Portugal, he joined the Algarve Orchestra as lead violinist for seven years, leaving to open his own restaurant and art gallery, the Café Del Arte in Vilamoura.
Artists will be performing free of charge in order to support local charities, the Casa Popular de Lagoa, the Royal British Legion, the Donkey Sanctuary, the Peta Birch Association and the Algarve Oncology Association.
Tickets cost €12. Doors and bar open from 7pm and the show starts at 8.30pm.
