FOR THE seventh year running, the Tavira Film Club will host the annual European Film Show of Tavira, an event which takes place in the open air, in the Cloisters of the old Convent of Carmo. The event not only aims to mirror the best European productions on offer, but also to remain faithful to the unique ambiance in which the films are presented.
The event takes place from July 14 to 23 and the titles included in this year’s programme are Match Point (July 14), The Constant Gardener (July 15), Le Marche de L’Empereur (July 16), Die Fetten Jahre Sind Vorbei (July 17), Darwin’s Nightmare (July 18), Babí Léto (July 19), Dear Frankie (July 20), Breakfast on Pluto (July 21), Pride and Prejudice (July 22) and Playtime (July 23). Screenings start at 9.30pm.
