The Algarve may have a new millionaire following the announcement that a winning lottery ticket for the February 28 Euromillions jackpot, totaling €66 million, was purchased in the Algarve.
The lucky numbers were 8, 11, 20, 22 and 23 alongside the two lucky stars, 3 and 4.
This was the second time this year that a Euromillions ticket purchased in Portugal emerged as a winner.
