An 85-year-old woman died in a newsagents as she queued to pay her ‘Euromilhões’ lottery dues. Maria Teresa Ramos felt ill and collapsed in a shopping centre in Leiria, causing panic among staff and shoppers alike. According to Correio da Manhã newspaper, the elderly lady died instantly and the shopping centre was closed for more than an hour afterwards.
