“Embracing learning activities that also take place outside of the classroom”, Eupheus International School in Loulé took all its students, on Friday, May 7, on the first of several school excursions planned for the Summer term.
With all necessary Covid-19 personal and group regulations strictly in place and adhered to, students and teachers alike were thrilled to be outdoors, enjoying the Algarvian sunshine and the water sports facilities at Artur’s Water Sports Academy located at Quinta do Lago lake.
Under the guidance of trained professional instructors, in small learning groups, students were taught how to sail a catamaran, stand up paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking.
Students were also given plenty of time to practise their skills. “It was a truly memorable day culminating in an ice-cream for all and a cool swim!” said Head of School, Ms Penelope Best.
“An enormously fun day was had by all. A very special thank you must go to Artur at Artur’s Water Sports Academy and all of his highly qualified and professional team for making it such a memorable day. Artur’s partnership with Eupheus goes from strength to strength.”
