Over 100 volunteers turned up in force last week to clean up the banks of Ria Formosa. Concentrating on the area around Armona Island and Quinta de Marim, over 900 kilos of waste was collected.
The event was organised by Hotéis Real, in collaboration with Olhão council, AmbiOlhão and wildlife centre RIAS.
