Estoril’s legendary haunted castle, Castelinho de São João – on the seaside Marginal avenue – is looking for a new owner. On the market for €3.5 million – “with no extra charge” for the resident ghosts – it has a tragic history. A child is understood to have fallen from the property’s edge into the sea and since then, the noise of the waves inside the property is apparently “deafening”.
But according to the sales blurb, the little castle is currently inhabited by a doctor and his family – and they haven’t suffered any drama or witnessed anything paranormal (so far)…
