A CONVICTED felon escaped from Silves prison after he covered his body with cardboard and climbed over barbed wire fencing surrounding the prison walls.
Silves GNR, the PJ and the Prison Service are all currently working together to try and apprehend the prisoner. A spokesman from Silves GNR told The Resident: “The suspect escaped from the prison last week and is currently still at large.” The spokesman was, however, unable to confirm any further details surrounding the prisoner.
