Established since 1998, Hotéis Heritage Lisboa offer their guests a warm welcome at their five boutique hotels in the historic centre of Lisbon.
As Janelas Verdes, Hotel Heritage, Hotel Britania, Hotel Lisboa Plaza and Solar do Castelo are part of the Hotéis Heritage Lisboa, which were created with the idea of promoting Portugal’s and Lisbon’s history, tradition and culture in mind.
Managed by a Portuguese family, Hotéis Heritage Lisboa have been set up in old and small historic buildings in the centre of Lisbon.
“These small hotel units offer an alternative to the large luxury hotels and an intimate and welcoming environment. A special balance has been achieved between local traditions and modern-day requirements thus creating unique environments,” said a spokesman from Hotéis Heritage Lisboa.
Hotéis Heritage Lisboa offer special tram deals, which include free tickets in the Elevador da Glória tram that links the Avenida da Liberdade, the city’s main boulevard, to the lively Bairro Alto.
For guests staying two nights, As Janelas Verdes and Solar do Castelo hotels also offer a free trip through the old Lisbon quarters on the 28 tram, which passes near the hotels and will take them to Alfama, Baixa, Chiado, Bairro Alto and other historic sites.
Hotéis Heritage Lisboa also offer guests staying a minimum of two nights in one of their hotels free entrance to all of Lisbon’s museums from July 1 to August 31 and from November 1 to December 27.
