Vila Vita Parc in Porches has unveiled an Easter brunch menu that allows couples and families to relax and have a delicious festive meal delivered directly to their doorstep via the resort’s Home & Away delivery service.
The brunches will be delivered on Saturday and Sunday (April 3-4) and are designed to “impress” without requiring clients to spend “too much time in the kitchen”.
The menu starts off with a few ‘Essentials’ such as artisanal bread and viennoiserie, homemade granola and organic yoghurt and freshly squeezed orange juice.
The gourmet meal continues with a selection of ‘Bits and Bites’ including asparagus puffs with Serra cheese, oxtail croquette with Kashmir curry dip, cheese and onion empanada with chimichurri, crab taco with avocado, homemade salmon with yuzu dip and pomegranate, and spinach and almond salad with avocado, pomegranate, fresh goat cheese and cherry tomato.
Up next are the ‘Traditional’ dishes such as the ‘Folar de Chaves’ – typical Easter bread filled with meat and smoked sausage – as well as a selection of coloured hard-boiled eggs and either leg of lamb with Za’atar (Arab spice mix), pomegranate, potatoes, apricot and green olives or fresh cod à la Provençal with white asparagus – both of which are “pre-cooked and have to be finished at home”.
A series of Easter treats are also included, such as a Folar Algarvio – traditional Algarvian Easter layered cake with sugar and cinnamon, a Vila Vita Easter nest with Arriba chocolate, biscuit and hazelnut, a chocolate egg stuffed with tiramisu and an artisanal Easter egg.
Price varies depending on whether the meal is for two people (€149) or four (€295).
