The third edition of Lagos Nights Out is returning to Cais das Descobertas between September 2 and 4, promising a “relaxed atmosphere which allows visitors to enjoy concerts by some of the best artists of the Portuguese music scene.”
Lagos Night Out was created in 2020 with the restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic in mind but has become such as success that it is “here to stay”, organisers say.
Renowned pianist Pedro Burmester will be the first to perform on Friday, September 2. Having performed with artists and orchestras from all over the world and shared the stage with over 50 maestros, the 58-year-old musician is certain to put on an impressive show.
Tiago Nacarato – described as “one of the most complete singers of the new generation of Portuguese artists, having performed all over Portugal as well as Europe and Brazil – will take the stage on Saturday, September 3, while d’Anto – a Fado group created by six students from Coimbra – will bring the event to a close on Sunday, September 4.
Tickets cost €5 per night and can be purchased at the Lagos Cultural Centre reception or online. Doors open every night at 9.30pm at Cais das Descobertas, located between Praça do Infante and Jardim da Constituição.
