An Englishman aged 55 has been stabbed to death in Alcoutim.
His alleged attacker – a 20-year-old Portuguese man – was arrested by PSP police this (Tuesday) morning after being caught driving the victim’s car. The young man is understood to have confessed the crime.
National media reports the victim’s body was found in his own home, with some newspapers claiming the man was killed on a “remote plot of land”.
According to SIC television news, the dead man had not been seen for three days.
His alleged attacker is thought to come from Faro.
