Carvoeiro’s annual religious festivities in honour of Our Lady of Incarnation will take place this weekend (August 26 and 27), alongside the now popular end-of-summer Carvoeiro Beach Party on Saturday.
The party, which starts at 8pm, will see performances by DJ Noxwell, followed by I Love Baile Funk at 10pm, Pete Sleeve at midnight and Pedro Carillho ft Mr. Vlalen at 1am. The music will continue the following evening with a concert by Barreiro band Companhia Limitada at 9pm.
The religious events start with an evening Mass at 5.30pm on Saturday, August 26 at Carvoeiro’s Nossa Senhora da Encarnação chapel, followed by a ‘Velada de Armas’ ceremony involving the ‘Promessas do Agrupamento 1331 Carvoeiro’ Scouts group at 9pm.
On Sunday, August 27, a Solemn Mass is scheduled for 6.30pm while a procession with the image of Our Lady of Incarnation will be held at 7.30pm with the presence of the Banda Filarmónica de Silves (Silves Philharmonic Band) and 511 Lagoa Scouts group.
