Residents and visitors to the Algarve only have a week left before the Fiesa International Sand Sculpture Festival closes on October 22.
The theme of the festival, the eighth to be held in the region, is the living world and examples of everything from dinosaurs to gorillas have been created in the park located at Pêra.
Tickets to Fiesa cost eight Euros for adults and 4.50 Euros for children and the park is open from 10am until 8pm.
