EN125 works in Almancil begin

The inauguration of works to improve the stretch of the EN125 that runs through Almancil will be held this Friday (May 8).

A ceremony is due to be held near the Jardim das Comunidades, where the benefits of the work will be outlined to members of the public before works will officially begin.

The project represents an investment by Loulé Câmara of almost 2.5 million euros and will see the Avenidas 5 de Outubro and Duarte Pacheco repaved with new pedestrian walkways, new parking spaces, the creation of a roundabout, the elimination of left turns, new sign posts and the upgrading of drainage and sewage systems along the routes.

Works are expected to take 10 months to complete.
