EN125 madness

Dear Editor,

On Friday night (March 18), I endured one of the worst journeys of 50 years of driving.

I was driving my wife back to Albufeira from Faro airport after her short trip to the UK. From the moment on entering the EN125, it was like an obstacle race with very high stakes. It was bucketing down and street lighting was very poor. Trying to drive that distance between the cones is madness.

I am surpised there are not many more accidents. Lucky I have done the journey many times before!

It is a fatal policy not to cease the toll charges on the motorway whilst the roads are being repaired.

I think I will brave the frustrating queue in the post office to pay (for the tolls) in future as that journey is pure suicide.
