CASCAIS Câmara President, António d’Orey Capucho, presided over a meeting, held recently in the Cascais Cultural Centre, to outline the already adopted Emergency Plan for Industrial Accidents within his borough. Elaborating on the plan, which has become more important due to the increase of industrial areas in Cascais municipality, was the Municipal Civil Protection Force.
The main strategies for the implementation of the plan and its procedure are the creation and location of aid instruments, partnerships with main forces of security and the activation of contingency plans for the different areas of the municipality.
