Elvis Costello cancels concert

British singer-songwriter Elvis Costello cancelled his Lisbon concert on July 28 for “logistical reasons”.

Costello and his band The Imposters were due to perform at the Coliseu dos Recreios, but a statement from events promoter Everything is New informed that the concert had been cancelled for logistical reasons and that the British musician had promised to return to Portugal soon.

Ticket holders have until August 27 to visit the outlet where the ticket was purchased to be reimbursed.

Meanwhile, his wife Canadian jazz pianist Diana Krall performed to a full house on Friday last week during the EDP Cool Jazz festival in Oeiras.
