Sir Elton John is out of hospital and is said to be feeling “fine” after being struck down with a serious bout of flu and an E.coli bacterial infection.
Sir Elton’s spokesman said the Your Song singer, 62, had checked out on November 4 and was planning to resume his tour.
He plans to resume scheduled US dates alongside singer Billy Joel starting in Oakland, California, this Saturday (November 14).
Sir Elton had to postpone concerts in Sheffield, Newcastle, London, Liverpool and Dublin since October 23, when he contracted the flu.
The concerts were part of his Red Piano Tour and discussions are said to be taking place about when they will be re-scheduled.
