Electricity has finally arrived in houses at Matos, a small hamlet of Pereiro, Alcoutim.
The project, which represented an investment of €43,000, also includes public street lighting. Alcoutim Mayor Francisco Amaral said: “Matos was the only hamlet in the council without electricity. The investment will enable the area to develop and hopefully attract new residents.”
