Electricity market reform, coming next week, says PM

In Maputo for the 5th Luso-Mozambican summit, Portugal’s prime minister, António Costa, said he hopes the European Union will approve reform of the electricity market next week. Only then will it make sense for the government to define measures aimed at companies., he said. “A Council of Energy Ministers of the European Union is scheduled for 9 September. We hope that the European Union will finally approve a set of measures such as those we have been calling for since the beginning of this crisis, namely the reform of the electricity market,” he said.
