A 77-year-old woman was run over in Lisbon yesterday after an electric automatic BMW, ostensibly parked in Rua Ferreira Borges, Campo de Ourique, started on its own, mounting the pavement. The car only came to a halt after hitting the front window of a restaurant. The driver had apparently been trying to enter the car, without success, when the accident happened. PSP police are now investigating.
