Elderly woman in Azores dies of Covid after receiving second dose of vaccine

An 86-year-old woman has died in the Azores less than 14-days after receiving the second dose of vaccine against Covid-19.

According to regional health authorities, her death can be explained on the basis that she “had not acquired maximum protection” against the virus. The inference being that had the woman contracted Covid AFTER the 14-day period post inoculation, she may have survived.

A note to newspapers adds that the senior “presented several comorbidities”, and died after what was described as “pulmonary bacterial overinfection”.

However the news comes as more and more articles are appearing about a phenomenon known as ADE that can be a very real consequence of becoming vaccinated, and can actually mean that someone who might have naturally developed only a mild illness as a result of contracting Covid-19 could “experience severe disease, lasting morbidity or even death”.

This has been minutely explained in an article entitled “How the Vaccine can make Covid worse” written by Neville Hodgkinson, who worked as a medical and science correspondent for The Sunday Times, Sunday Express and Daily Mail (click here).

He reveals that an international group of doctors and scientists has published an appeal to governments, regulators and vaccine developers worldwide to halt mass-vaccination programmes until safety issues, especially ADE, have been resolved.

ADE (standing for antibody-dependent enhancement) can and has been seen with vaccines against other viruses – but is considered very rare.

Two US doctors however have been reviewing published evidence (click here), and have concluded that people need to be told of the risks of ADE before they are vaccinated.

Says Hodgkinson, “Evidence is growing that Covid-19 vaccines may worsen the disease in some recipients. The danger arises when a vaccinated person meets the actual virus. Antibodies developed as a result of the jab can end up enhancing disease rather than protecting against infection”.

“This an extraordinarily serious concern”, he stresses, “since across the world sicknesses and deaths seen immediately in the wake of vaccination are regularly attributed to the virus itself”.

Closer to home, a devastating outbreak in an old people’s home in Monchique earlier this year, days after residents received their first jabs comes to mind.

Hodgkinson’s article refers to “a family doctor in Texas who highlighted the risk of ADE in evidence this month to the Texas Senate Committee on State Affairs.  Dr Ben Edwards said more than half of Texans now have natural immunity to the virus, and this confers ‘a more robust immunity’ than the vaccine. But two different studies have shown that ‘vaccinating someone who is already robustly immune increases their risk of adverse reactions 2-3-fold.’

“He told the committee that in the past four months, 4,178 deaths associated with the Covid vaccine had been reported to the US Government’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), almost the same as the 4,182 deaths reported from all vaccinations combined over the past 20 years.

“The deaths included those of a 15-year-old boy in Colorado, two 16-year-old girls in Wisconsin, a 17-year-old girl in Wisconsin and a 17-year-old boy in New Hampshire, all previously healthy.

“I have received numerous reports from family members of my patients, and close friends of my patients, that within hours to days of receiving the vaccine they’ve suffered stroke, heart attack, pulmonary embolism, blood clots, sudden death; and as far as these family members know, none of these were reported by the medical staff as being associated with the vaccine. So my concern is that there is indeed vast under-reporting”, he said.

According to the doctor there is no need for the jab in people who have acquired immunity, “whether through having had the disease, or having been exposed to the virus without developing symptoms”.

These clearly are professional opinions that for now are not being ‘fully taken on board’ by governments. But they are coming from people who have sworn to “first do no harm” (the cornerstone of the Hippocratic oath) – and they clearly believe harm is being done.

In Portugal, authorities have admitted to 35 deaths so far in the vaccine roll-out (click here), discounting incidents like the ‘perfectly healthy mother of two’ found dead in bed two days after her first dose of vaccine at New Year (click here).

Experts here have not referred to ADE, although they have admitted that contracting Covid-19 naturally will give people a stronger immune response (click here) – while the DGS health authority has decided that anyone who has been naturally infected with the virus will not require two doses of vaccine (click here).
